1 - What methods of print do you use?

We use 3 methods when printing on our goods which are sublimation, vinyl transfer and heat transfer. Each has a use with different fabrics and substrates.

2 - What is sublimation printing?

​

Sublimation is a printing process developed around 20-25 years or so ago, so it is fairly new and it has only really became a mainstream process for small format use in the last 6-7 years or so really..

 

The sublimation process is quite a nifty way of printing, basically you heat the item up that you want to print (mug, phone case, rock slate etc) with a high quality sublimation paper attached to it and the ink then evaporates at the baking temperature beneath the polymer or polyester layer of the product without it turning in to a liquid.

 

If you make a mug it is actually dishwasher safe and fade resistant, this is because once printed the ink goes under the outer layer of the actual mug and not on top of it. A great way to make your gift last !

3 - What is vinyl printing?

​

Vinyl printing is a process widely used by most leading brands in current times.

 

Years ago the process got a bad rep as people were using inadequate vinyl and low quality clothing, this has now been rectified by most suppliers. Large brands such as Adidas and Gucci are choosing vinyl to emboss their own products !

This process works by applying heat to vinyl and the substrate it is being attached to, making it washable (some up to 60c) and you can also stick good quality vinyl in the tumble drier too !

4 - What is heat transfer printing?

​

Heat transfer printing is used to apply full colour designs or photos to coloured fabrics.

​

This method can be used on any colour fabric, even dark's with the correct high quality papers.

​

Using this method allows a photo of someones face to be replicated perfectly and then applied to a t-shirt or hoodie etc.

​

Using this method, the design is printed on to the high quality transfer paper, then heat applied to it under a heat press using set times and temperatures to get the design looking perfect !

5 - Can you design something for me from my own ideas?

​

The short answer is YES we can, simply order a product from our personalised section and then send us your photo or design. If you don't have a design in mind please contact us before you make your purchase to talk about design costs etc. 

​

Our designs costs start from just £5, so don't worry if you need help designing what you need !

6 - How long will it take from ordering on the site to actually receive my item?

​

It will take from between 3-5 days to receive your item, all of the items that we make are made to order to a very high standard.

​

Sometimes you may receive your items quicker than this but please do not contact us until after day 5 to ask where an item is, sometimes Royal Mail or the chosen courier can be delayed.

 

This is unfortunately out of our hands.

7 - What resolution and type of image is best for printing?

​

The image or design you send to us should be as high a quality as possible, the format isn't so important as long as it is a high quality image with a decent resolution.

​

When selecting an image for a printed product it is always better to use the genuine image where possible, for instance an image taken directly on your camera or phone will always have a better resolution than one taken from Facebook. This is because FB lower the resolution before adding them to the site so that they take up less space on the their servers !

​

A Facebook image is sometimes OK for items up to mug size, anything bigger and you really need the original image taken from the source (phone or camera).

8 - What are the payment options on the site?

​

You can pay securely through Paypal or directly with a credit or debit card on our site, you have the option to use either payment source at checkout.

​

For larger orders you can also pay via bank transfer or cash on collection if you are coming to us.

​

9 - Do you sell gift cards?

​

Yes we certainly do, you can contact us and we will be happy to email you a gift card and activation number so that you can use them for loved ones birthdays and Christmas etc.

10 - What are the returns polices?

​

Non-personalised items purchased can be returned within 14 days of receipt, or 14 days after Christmas.

​

To return an item please contact our customer service team, you will need to include your email order confirmation and the reason for your return in the email.

 

Refunds are made onto your card, not in cash. PayPal payments are refunded to your payment card or source of payment.

The items must be returned in the original condition and packaging with any security seals intact

• Repackage the products securely and send to the address in our contact section

• Include the reason for the return, a copy of your email order confirmation and your email address or telephone number.

Request a refund within 14 working days after the item was delivered. Return it to us within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Keep any warranty information.

​

If you are sending something back that's faulty or incorrect due to our error we'll refund your postage costs to the card you paid with too.

​

You cannot return an order for:​

​

• Products made to your specification i.e. personalised

• Perishable goods e.g. Chocolate or sweets

• Items that have been worn (if clothing) or used (if mugs, phone cases etc).

• Items that are past our 14 day cut off period

​

... unless the product is incorrect, faulty or defective, then an exchange is always available if the fault is our fault. Broken or damaged items are STRICTLY non refundable.
